Quality Assurance for Casting Blank
Quality control for casting blank starting from reasonable design of pattern. Engineer will simulate by software to find the best position of pouring gate and suitable number of vent outlets.
Second key point of quality assurance for casting blank is inspection of chemical composition of molten iron. Chemical composition strictly match with required ratio.
Pouring way, pouring speed also take very important roles during making good casting blanks, all controlled well by our trained operators.
Quality checking for casting blank rely on a variety of non-destructive and destructive tests in house and/or at certified test laboratories:
Visual inspection
Complete spectral analysis of each casting batch
Mechanical/physical properties
Metallographic examination
Digital radioscopy/x-ray
Penetration test/magnetic particle test
Dimensional inspection by means of coordinate measuring machine/gauges
Test bar stored and archived for later quality tracking at least 1 year

In the final inspection, the finished castings are checked for compliance with the properties specified by the customer in the technical drawings. Each batch is metallurgically analyzed and dimension inspected, all documented. This guarantees the flawless quality of our casting components.
